If you decide you'd like me to be a part of your birth team (yay!), you'll digitally sign a contract with me and then we'll schedule our prenatal appointments. You'll get some e-paperwork from me, too, that you'll need to fill out and return to me.

I charge $800 for my virtual doula services package, which includes the following:

2 to 3 virtual prenatal visits to include:

  • help with your birth plan, including the specifics of what to include on your birth plan during a pandemic or state of emergency

  • introduction, demonstration, and practice of labor techniques and comfort measures

  • a complete curated digital folder of positions and partner support that can be easily accessed during labor

  • Specialized information for what virtual doula support looks like, including a specialized labor packing list

  • discussion of your and your birth partner's questions, concerns, and/or fears about labor and delivery, including the process of informed decision-making. Part of this discussion will be focused on training and information for the birth partner as well as specialized information and tips for birthing in a hospital during a pandemic.

  • preparation for baby feeding

  • planning related to when you'll call me to “join” you during labor and practice with the digital communication platforms we’ll be using (a complete “tech check”)

  • recommendations for online childbirth education and online breastfeeding classes

  • discussion about postpartum issues

Constant prenatal information and support

  • Any time you have a question or concern, contact me! E-mail me, text me, or give me a call and I'll respond or get back to you promptly.

  • Access to my lending library of recommended books on nursing, labor and delivery, birth partners, postpartum concerns, resources for pregnancy and birth during a pandemic, etc.

  • Access to my website’s client resources page where I’ve provided the results of the hours of research I’ve done for you!

  • Support can also include suggestions for Bible scriptures to use in pregnancy, labor & delivery, affirmation cards, prayer, labor position comfort measure pictures, community resources, etc.

24/7 On-call

  • I will be on call for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from 3 weeks prior to your due date until you give birth.

  • You will have a special ring tone and text message tone on my phone so I'll always know it's you or your birth partner trying to contact me.

Labor and delivery

  • I will virtually join you for your labor and delivery using the digital video platform that works for you or via texting and phone call if the wi-fi or cellular signals in the hospital prohibit video.

  • I will stay in touch with you digitally throughout your entire labor and delivery.

  • Supporting your birth preferences and plan will be my goal during your labor and delivery.

  • I will continue to be available for you virtually until 1-2 hours after your baby's birth in order to assist you with breastfeeding and other postpartum needs.

  • I will be available to make sure you understand your discharge paper instructions.

One virtual postpartum visit + 6 weeks postpartum assistance

  • I will virtually visit you in order to see how you and your baby are doing, answer any questions you have, and help you with any breastfeeding or newborn issues.

  • I will be available to answer your questions and help you find support for up to 6 weeks postpartum.
